Key Documents BET Child Protection Policy Bridgwater Education Trust (BET) recognises the vulnerability of young people and takes issues surrounding Child Abuse very seriously. Every organisation working for the BET will have a Child Protection Policy and every person working with children on BET Module courses will have an up to date criminal record check. BET Data Protection Policy In order to work effectively, Bridgwater Education Trust (BET) needs to collect and use personal information about customers, staff and other people with whom it works. This information must be handled correctly according to Data Protection principles, whether it is held electronically or on paper. BET Confidentiality Policy BET offers confidentiality. Any sensitive information given will not be passed on except in very rare circumstances where this is necessary to protect a vulnerable person from harm, or to comply with the law.
